2009年10月3日 · dude, use a obd1 p72 ecu. use the IAB feature to control vtec-e, and regular vtec feature to control regular vtec. use d15z1 maps during 12v mode, and d16z6 maps during 16v mode and vtec. its obd1 so it can be chipped and tuned to your liking, and it has the IAB feature (not used on d-series) that can control vtec-e....do it.

Go with a D15B and a tranny, you'd be suprised at how cheap they are going, and I don't care what anybody else says, they ARE the most powerful D-series motor. Unique cam and more aggressive internals.

That youtube video shows a Z6 era gear, does yours look exactly like that cam gear? If everything else is stock, 1 tooth off isn't going to cause P2V contact.
