2007年7月10日 · I am going to convert a friends car to OBD1 so I can tune it with Crome but I have a couple questions. It is a 89 CRX with the A1 swapped in. I did the dpfi->mpfi conversion for the swap & it has the 88-89 dizzy/ecu setup (electronic timing, not mechanical).

2011年11月4日 · If you plan to boost it then keep then compression around 9:1 and just stick with the stock cam in the vtec head, it is hard to find a cam better than the stock one to go with boost. A OBD1 conversion is the best way to go it opens up a world of tuning possibilities.

Car ran like a dream Crank and Cam are perfectly aligned. Purchased 2 TD43u distributors and have managed to replicate the issue.(Generic eBay and a Spectra unit)

2009年2月24日 · D16A8/9 parts work for EDM/JDM(if you are outside the US), D16A1 parts work for USDM. Some internals(mainly cams/cam gears) are different between the motors but as far as upkeep most auto parts stores usually stock gaskets and such for the D16A1 here in the US.

2022年5月25日 · I build a lot of ZC's, so I say with a lot of experience, that you can easily tune it with OBD0 or OBD1. Either one works just fine. You will need a chipped OBD0 ECU to tune it with obd0. Those can still be found and you will need at least a chip burner. I have a good OBD0 tune for stock ZC's that is pretty spot on.
