D16A ZC JDM building advice - HondaSwap.com
2011年11月4日 · ZC runs good, much more grunt than the D16A6 had above 5k RPM. I had the engine balanced, port matched, and head milled I think 0.045" to give it 10:1 compression with a 0.041" or 0.051" head gasket - don't remember but it's on my thread. I can go two steps up in compression to run 10.25:1 or 10.5:1 if I want to. May do that someday, but not ...

Best Setups For All D16Z6 Motor - HondaSwap.com
2007年1月7日 · Use the girdle from the D16A6, it's OEM and the strongest from the factory. If you want more compression, use the pistons from the A6 as well, or ones from the A1\DOHC ZC. For even more compression and a better top end, you can sell your head and use the money to procure a Y8 head\intake manifold\dizzy.
D16a6 Camshaft and Cam Gear Questions - HondaSwap.com
2005年11月1日 · The zc is rated at somewhere around 125. But I'm not entirely sure where that extra power comes from. I know the compression is higher, which will add a few HPs.. But not a whole lot. The d16a6 is only rated at 108hp. But its a feisty little fucker. With all the basic mods, my little rex was screaming. 15.9 quarter miles and a 133mph top end.
D16z6 Oil Pump in a D16a6 Block - HondaSwap.com
2009年5月10日 · I'm doing a STOCK rebuild on my D16a6 block and I heard you can use the z6 oil pump because it has better flow. I was wondering what the advantages of this would be on a STOCK motor. The only thing that is not STOCK is the Crower "stage 1" cam I bought for the D16y8 head. Any suggestions will be greatly taken. Thanks!.
