It was the primary dive bomber of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) and was involved in almost all IJN actions, including the attack on Pearl Harbor.

2025年2月25日 · This type would be the standard dive bomber for the Japanese Navy until June 1942. In that month a new improved type was tested and designated as Aichi D3A2 or also Marine Type 99 Aircraft Carrier Bomber Model 12 and after further improvement Model 22.
