2022年8月10日 · The DAC 665T 6×6 truck first entered production in 1978 and worked hand in hand with artillery tractors in terms of towing and supplies. But, in the 1990s, as they were much cheaper to operate, faster and more reliable, they began replacing the tracked prime movers.

The trucks were based on military DAC 665 T, because this type of truck showed extraordinary strength over time. Romanian engines were used and traction was all-wheel drive 6x6. I do not know if there is any surviving truck left.

It was the 5-ton army truck DAC 665T (6x6) made on a commercial chassis 10.215FA with a diesel engine MAN (10.3 l, 215 hp). It had top speed of 85 km/h and could haul 10 ton trailer. 667T and 6610T variants had a capacity of 7 and 10 tons, respectively.

The DAC 665T has a winch with a 10-ton capacity and 60 meters of cable. Variants of this vehicle include a carrier for a Romanian-built 40-round 122mm rocket launcher, and a resupply vehicle for the rocket launcher that has a 6-ton capacity loading crane.
