I'm mostly looking at a caster with AE capacity for its power in zergs plus the fact those classes tend to be self-sufficient and good farmers. Interested in either Hib or Alb. Would prefer a realm whose PUG leadership is active during US primetime for raids etc.

DAoC used to be divided into at least 4 big communities. EN, FR, DE (GER) and US. Since DAoC is open RvR with no real tasks other than earn RPs and dont lose your relics, the community will sort of form their own rules or playstyles. I noticed a pretty huge difference between EN servers and German servers back in the days.

One thing I kind of miss (from DAoC and surely available in many of the older MMOs) is open world huge (zerg) PvE raids. ie. something anyone can join and is more about doing the encounter than who can bring how much DPS and what gear you have.
