Slightly more modern cousin of the venerable dbx 160vu. Featuring a fully adjustable compressor section with their classic Overeasy mode, and an additional Peakstop limiter as well. Great on bass, vocals, guitar and I especially liked it on snare.

2016年11月16日 · The DBX 165 was the first compressor I spent a lot of time with in the 70's, and it warms my heart to think of it. BUT, while the 165 was affordable and well-behaved, it was the first generation of over-easy comps. The 160 is a later generation and, in my opinion, more refined. It has better metering and seems to be more of a pro build.
