Beerus, the God of Destruction, is a central character in the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film. His quest to uncover the Super Saiyan God triggers the main events and conflicts of the movie.

He made his debut appearance in the 2013 film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods serving as the main antagonist and returned in the 2015 sequel Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' in a supporting roles, as well as in Dragon Ball Super.
