2002年10月2日 · The leg into LIH was direct from LAX, but the return had to be routed with a stopover in HNL for fuel and passengers because LIH's runway isnt long enough for a fully fueled and full passenger load DC-10 to takeoff. There was another airline, I think SkyService that flew into LIH with DC-10's in the past, but could be wrong.
