2012年3月24日 · The rifle is gassed perfectly and doesn’t even put a scratch on the brass whether suppresses or unsuppressed. The two setting gasblock along with their porting works perfectly. The gasblock will freeze like all do if you don’t move it. I still have a DD5V3 in .308 that works just the same.

2014年1月7日 · As far as witch cartridge to go with, its the same as with bolt guns. 6.5 creedmoor has the ballistic and recoil advantage over 308. The .308 has barrel life and cheaper surplus ammunition that is all but gone due to the political climate. If you plan on stretching its legs, the 6.5 should up your hit percentage.

2011年8月13日 · The DD5 is 100% proprietary and even with the overpriced Proof Research barrel offerings accuracy doesn't seem to improve much if any. The SP10 is user friendly and can be setup in any configuration that best suits you and your shooting needs.

I am sure Larue rifles are phenomenal, but few things in life live up to the hype- and even fewer live up to hype fueled expectations. How much better than the DD5 would the Larue need to shoot to in order to really blow your hair back?
