USS Carney (DDG-64) is an Arleigh Burke-class Aegis guided missile destroyer in the United States Navy. The guided-missile destroyer is the first to be named after Admiral Robert Carney, who served as Chief of Naval Operations during the Eisenhower administration. Carney was laid down in 1993 at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine.

The Carney (DDG 64) is the U.S. Navy's fourteenth Arleigh Burke-class destroyer. The ship was named after Adm. Robert B. Carney. The keel was laid down on August 3, 1993, at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine, and launched on July 23, 1994. Mrs. Betty Taussig, daughter of Admiral Carney, served as sponsor of the ship.
