Guilford was always looking for a bargain and here's a fine example: exPC U-33-C at Conklin yard. A pair of ex CR U33Cs give MEBU a push toward the tunnel. Theyre not all dead, some are waiting for shop time. Still, its quite a gallery, with everything from 40 year old GP 7s to six axle GEs. Only in Binghamton.

Two big GEs - a B&M U30C and a D&H U33C - hold a Guilford freight train at the Belden Hill summit at Tunnel NY on 25 October 1986, when the enlarged tunnel was relatively "new." These are actually helper engines cutting off. Three GE U33C on the service track Broad Ave, Binghamton, NY. April 1979.

The GE U33C is a 6-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by GE Transportation Systems between January 1968 and January 1975. [1] 375 examples of this locomotive were built for 11 North American railroads and one construction contractor. 5701 was wrecked and never wore the BN Cascade Green.
