2013年4月18日 · The forge body was made from an old electric roaster insert pan, and two junk steel T.V. trays with a side cut off that were used previously as hardware sorting trays. The adobe is hand mixed, and the tiny amount of cracking is not bad considering I made it at the start of the winter and it has been curing since, in preparation for spring.

2013年7月5日 · The tempering and hardening can be learned on the fly, Save your best metal for you next knife. Use files, and grinders for removing metal. Forge, anvil, and hammer for moving metal. Both methods work fine. See if you have a knife makers club in you area, you can learn alot in a short time with a knowledgeable knife guy!! Good luck, have fun!!

2012年4月11日 · There is lots of info online about forging medieval broad heads , basicaly flatten an inch of stock , shape into a cone around a pair of needle nose plier . next cut the cone you have formed off the stock with enough material to forge a small blade . forge the blade stock into a pointed square section , then flatten and file to shape .
