2014年12月26日 · There are many lovely examples of DIY and production pick/hookaroons. I have a Logrite, and it works pretty good, but if I had any skills and/or tools for metal working, I'm sure I could build a better one for 1/1oth the cost.

2008年8月17日 · I wanted a pickaroon to pull logs off my pile, went to the hardware store they wanted $75 for one. I took an old axe I had in the garage and made my own. I marked it with soap stone and cut it out with a torch then ground it with a grinder.

I made this one, havent tried it yet, hollow pipe and chunck of planer blade. That's mean lookin! That looks awesome, should fill the pipe with some silicone just like a Fiskars Isocore. .

2016年3月10日 · Yep, I homemade an 8' and copied the pick from a LogRite pickaroon. the little reverse hook right at the tip is secret to a good one. Lost my short logrite which stuck good, buought a 36" one and the 'sticking' is just barely adequate.
