2023年2月10日 · Based on the original T2 from Stax, and the design of Kevin Gilmore, there are a few variations, notably the more popular currently Eksonic, "Kerry T2." There are also builds of the original DIY design through members like @georgep. All T2 discussion welcome, but if you could specify which one you have, that might be helpful for other members.

2023年2月10日 · The "OG" DIY T2 (mine is a George Parris build) has a thickening & reinforcing effect in the lower range. There's more warmth and body in the midrange through bass, and bass seems more punchy & weighty as well.

2024年1月11日 · The T2 uses a 700-ish volt shunt regulator (the "active battery") as a level shifter to couple the driver to the power stage. It would work, but it is sort of scary.

2023年7月2日 · I am considering to get a DIY T2 amp. I am open to get a second-hand fully-built unit, or making one from scratch. Can you guys provide pointers to second-hand units or parts sources (PCBs, chassis/cases, BOM lists, etc.)? (I am an experienced DIYer, so no worries there -- just a question of finding parts and a lot if time...)
