2025年1月29日 · The North Carolina Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) collaborates with the Juvenile Crime Prevention Councils (JCPC) in each county to galvanize community leaders, locally and statewide, to reduce, and prevent juvenile crime.

Nine NCDPS juvenile detention centers (two of which are co-located with YDCs) are operational across North Carolina. Additionally, the Juvenile Justice section monitors and supports four county-operated juvenile detention centers.

Through our partnership with the Department Juvenile Justice & Juvenile Justice Behavioral Health (JJBH) program, we offer specialized support for at-risk youth in the juvenile justice system, focusing on comprehensive clinical assessments, mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral interventions.
