The David Lee Roth Band was Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth's backing band, formed in Pasadena, California. Originally featuring a supergroup lineup of guitarist Steve Vai , bassist Billy Sheehan , and drummer Gregg Bissonette , the band released numerous popular songs and albums from the mid-1980s until the late 1990s.
