The Dark Zone is the sixth and last deathmatch level of Quake. Every Weapon in the game can be found in this map. Teleporters link many of the rooms together, plus a second floor exists that overlooks a good deal of the map.

This map is popular the world over, and chances are you'll always be able to find a good match on this map. Although not proportionally more popular than the other countries, Denmark is the home of the DM6 "one-map wonder" ParadokS. Noteworthy, dag from Sweden and def from Canada were also top dm6 strategists.

The original map sources for the game Quake, as built by id Software in 1996. Also for download are the WAD files needed to build the levels.

Q3DM6: The Camping Grounds is a gothic themed large map, designed for 6-8 players, also 8th map of the single player campaign of Quake III Arena. Upon some modifications and interest from the community, it served as the most popular duel-deathmatch map of Q3A.

2022年7月11日 · The Dark Zone (DM6) from Quake is a very well known map for anyone that has played QuakeWorld. Well placed teleporters and a looping layout keep the action fast. The Lightning Gun pit and the tunnel above it are infamous.
