I tried using the parametric EQ and everything that I could find on the unit to try and make it less harsh but it seems that most of it has zero effect. It seems as if they EQ and sound adjustment does not work. I downloaded Apple Music onto the unit.

2023年11月6日 · It also depends on the products, as for the cheaper products it costs more logistically to send the product and have it sent back, but for some higher priced items it is different and most tend to go out on a loan basis to reviewers (I've got a loan DMP-A8 for example, and loan Rega Aya - the pair that were reviewed by AVForums).

2024年5月17日 · I just got an Eversolo DMP-A8 as a streaming source for my Audiolab 9000a integrated amp (+ KEF R3 Metas). I am wondering the best way to manage the connection and volume control. The Eversolo replaced a Bluesound node that I had connected to the 9000a via digital out with fixed volume so did not have this conundrum.

2024年10月18日 · The comparison to the M66 rather than a Naim NSC222 or the Eversolo DMP-A8 is deliberate too. The WiiM is a digital device. The WiiM is a digital device. It has analogue inputs but they are converted to digital for processing and volume adjustment (I am aware that the NAD can do analogue too but for reasons of EQ most owners are unlikely to).

2023年12月26日 · The DMP-A8 is an upgrade if you will make use of the other functions, as a streamer though it's not worth it in my opinion. If you are wanting to make use of the easier to navigate menu system and plan to use the internal DAC with other devices, it also makes sense.

2023年12月6日 · The DMP-A8 system is set to positive polarity by default, as shown in the corresponding port polarity diagram below. If the connected audio equipment has reverse polarity, please go to the Settings -> "Audio" ->XLR/RCA Output -> XLR Port Polarity.
