DPA 4007 vs. . 4006 as orch mains? - recording.org
2007年1月13日 · Hi! I have a pair of DPA 4003 that I enjoy for orch mains, and I also have some experience with 4006's. Anyhow- there is a pair of 4007s that I could procure. According to the DPA site, they seem to be like 4006's but able to handle higher SPLs. Does anyone here have any deeper experience with the 4007 as compared to the 4006?
Recording piano with DPA 4006

Unusual Set-up for Bach Cantata Concert - recording.org
I’ve now done three concerts this way and they sound better than my previous attempts with a main-pair-only set-up. I’d love to have some DPA 4006’s or a Royer SF-24 out front but for now I have to use what’s in the bag. I’d appreciate any comments. Here are some excerpts in mp3 format: Coro from Cantata BWV 120
Choir - Where are the mics? - recording.org
Could be "flying shotguns". I learned this trick in film school: Put shotgun mics way up high and aim them at the source.
Tuba recording advice
Howdy, I'm to record a tuba sextet next month...the recording will take place in a small church without an audience, vocalist, or any other instruments.
