The Dota Pro Circuit was a competitive structure for Dota 2 that rewarded teams with points for placements within Valve-sponsored tournaments. The top-ranking teams at the end of the year were invited to that year's The International. The system was established after The International 2017, replacing the previous direct invite system.

Competing a Major with a substitute will incur a 40% penalty per substitute on DPC points earned from that Major. Calculation is based on DPC registration and public announcements. Any partial DPC points will be rounded down for each individual event.

As the season progresses, teams continue to collect DPC points for places in the top 5 of the first division and the top 8 of the Major. The 12 teams with the most DPC points over the season will qualify for The International 2023, which will conclude the league year.

Unlike previous season, the earlier Regional League grant less points than the later ones (690/920/1150 DPC points). The prize pool and DPC points are spread as follows: Division I
