2023年1月18日 · Almost all AR-10's are based on the DPMS pattern (how the receiver set is designed). Gen 1 is considered a large frame set while Gen 2 is a small frame. Parts are not interchangeable between the two patterns because of the differences like handguards and BCGs.

2019年6月14日 · You'll find a lot of DPMS Gen 1 'LR-308' products. Gen 2 does not have a lot of third party support, but the receivers are shorter and thus lighter weight. The barrel, handguard, receivers and bolts in Gen 2 are unique and will not cross to Gen 1.

2021年1月27日 · Part of the problem is that DPMS has Gen 1, 2, 3, and I think possibly 4. Gen's 1 and 3 are large frame and don't play with Gen 2. I have some expensive ordering mistakes laying around the shop and some returns to file to back that up.
