2022年6月22日 · The buttons are arguably better in some cases than the DS Lite's (although snaking specifically in MKDS is easier on the Lite). There are also certain late models of Fat DS that can be given the brightness settings of the Lite (although the screens are still not quite as nice). And yeah, the GBA slot is a bit nicer designed.

2022年8月3日 · DS fat hands down. If you can find one of the alleged ones with a brighter screen you’ve got a grail I love the aesthetic of it, so identifiable. All colors are good other than white aging poorly. I think the Lite only looks good in colors like white or pink, black looks cheap. The speakers of the fat are definitely better than a lite.

DS FAT has the hinge all broken, actually you can separate the top screen from the bottom screen. DS LITE has the hinge still in place and it turns on, but the slightest touch of the screen will turn it off. Now, the questions that I have are: 1.-

The retro handheld market is booming and the DS is starting to get more attention just now after its discontinuation and GB and GBA will have been modded in almost every thinkable way. Also the DS homebrew and softmodding scene is growing again thanks to new ways of cfw flashing.

2022年12月28日 · The DS Lite digs into my palms and I can’t stand that. The Phat is larger and has more rounded edges. The colors are much more vibrant on the Lite, but it oversaturates GBA games. The Phat doesn’t oversaturate GBA games. I got used to DS games looking less saturated on the Phat so now it’s my ideal DS.
