This one has been modified to eliminate the typical Boss flip-flop switching so it can be wired for true bypass, but it retains the input and output buffers. Schematic can be found here. Boss DS1 Distortion Schematic. The Boss DS1 circuit can be broken down into 5 big blocks: Input Stage, Transistor Booster, Op-Amp Gain Stage, Tone Control, Output Buffer and Power Supply. The design idea is simple: The Input and Output Buffers will isolate the circuit, keeping the signal path clean and tone-sucking free.

2021年11月23日 · Replace R9 (22Ω) with 470Ω. Add a SPDT on/off/on toggle switch and wire it so that it adds either a 22uF or a 2.2uF (or neither) in parallel with R9. With 22uF in parallel with R9, you get the same gain as the stock pedal. With 2.2uF, you get a tighter bottom end.

2020年7月13日 · Most of the common mods are component value changes. The Keeley mods involve switching different clipping diodes in 'n' out. Half of the parts on the Boss board are for soft switching. It should be easy to make a mod-able DS-1 clone, minus the soft switching. BTW, the Defouler is very, very close to a DS-1.
