I use an isolated booth in the back, I may just use the 40 as a pseudo head by plugging the isolated cab into the amp and disconnecting the speaker

2018年1月30日 · 400 is pretty to low for a 40 dsl, my 40 c is at around 480 32 bias runs great at 60% Not all amps should run hot the dsl with mostly preamp distortion runs best at 60. Now the new maybe different. They sounded similar at the store at low levels

2018年12月30日 · My analysis is the 40cr i made into a head..Marshall nailed it out of the park with no mods. I am so glad i did the conversion or i would of missed out on my"tone'..whole Cd was done on the 40cr and it plays so well live. I would def get a DSL50 head immediately if they made it in the new version.

2019年5月30日 · Yes I'll post a review for sure. The old solid state combo in 85 was pretty thin sounding. Not much bass but it said Marshall so I thought it was ok for a while.
