There are types of logos: the primary corporate logo and secondary logo. The corporate logo is used in letterheads, on business cards, and in other corporate forms of communication. The primary logo comes in three variations: in colour (DTU red), in white (negative), and in black.

The old identity was created before DTU had become a master brand. It was developed primarily for print media, and later adapted to the world of digital media. The updated visual identity reflects the brand narrative and meets the visual demands of modern digital media.

If you need to identify the University further, the DTU logo must visually be clearly separated from the ‘describer’ Technical University of Denmark. It is imperative that the DTU logo always appears prominently and visibly on all material. This means that you must use the logo in a light colour or in negative dark on multicoloured backgrounds.
