Nov 12, 2024 · DTV developed the Gemini and the Gemini has all the features you are used to for the most part. The DTV app just has basic features and thats what you would use on TiVo stream. That said I think the dtv app is great but it’s no Gemini.

Mar 15, 2007 · A standalone with DTV will only get you a single tuner. That alone makes it a bad combo. The digital to analog converison as it saves the data is also bad. Of course all this assumes you live in the past and don't require HD yet.

Mar 18, 2018 · On my old DVR (Dish DTV Pal) when you pushed the 30 sec skip button it would instantly move forward 30 seconds (in the same way the 8 second back button does on the TIVO). On the TIVO the 30 second skip fast forwards through the program over a period of seconds (the same way the fast forward button does but automatically stops at 30 seconds).
