DUSP6 - Wikipedia
Dual specificity phosphatase 6 (DUSP6) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the DUSP6 gene. [5][6][7] The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the dual specificity protein phosphatase subfamily. These phosphatases inactivate their target kinases by dephosphorylating both the phosphoserine / threonine and phosphotyrosine residues.

2024年12月24日 · DUSP6 (Dual Specificity Phosphatase 6) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with DUSP6 include Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism 19 With Or Without Anosmia and Normosmic Congenital Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism. Among its related pathways are Toll Like Receptor 7/8 (TLR7/8) Cascade and MAPK family signaling cascades.

Dual-specificity phosphatase 6 (DUSP6), a member of the MAPK phosphatase family, interacts with specifically targeted extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 via negative feedback regulation in the MAPK pathway of mammalian cells. This phosphatase functions in a dual manner, pro-oncogenic or tumor-suppressive, depending on the type of cancer.
Dual specificity phosphatase 6 as a new therapeutic target …
DUSP6 plays a role as a tumor suppressor through dephosphorylation of p38, JNK and ERK (14), which are the major molecules in the MAPK signaling pathway. Activation of ERKs in cancer cells induces DUSP6 transcription, and DUSP6 suppresses MAPK signaling by negative feedback (15).

DUSP6 regulates radiosensitivity in glioblastoma by modulating the recruitment of phosphorylated DNAPKcs at DNA double-strand breaks. DUSP6 expression is associated with osteoporosis through the regulation of osteoclast differentiation via ERK2/Smad2 signaling.

2020年3月25日 · Here, we show that dual-specificity phosphatase 6 (DUSP6) dephosphorylates Drp1-S616 independently of its known substrates ERK1/2. DUSP6 keeps Drp1-S616 phosphorylation levels low under normal conditions.
Dual-Specificity Phosphatases in Immunity and Infection: An Update
The allosteric DUSP6 inhibitor BCI restores full responsiveness to TCR stimulation, suggesting that DUSP6 could be a promising target for improving cellular immune responses to vaccination in the elderly . In macrophages, DUSP6 is also constitutively expressed and attenuates ERK phosphorylation.
