Feb 7, 2023 · The da62 is a bit of an oddball in real life with a FADEC/ECU system controlling the mixture and prop pitch and the pilot only has the throttle to work with. The two most highly recommended light twins in game at present are the c310 and the c414, you will not go wrong with either of them.

Nov 10, 2020 · Yes, although having watched a ton of youtube videos of a test/delivery pilot in the DA62, you do need quite a lot of power with full flap, but the average figure is 27% which is almost a third. On a flatter approach you will need slightly more than a third throttle to maintain speed.

Sep 17, 2020 · Can anyone else with the latest patch confirm that they cannot start the DA62 from cold and dark? When you get to the step to start the engines, the starter buttons don't seem to have any effect. Also, the right G1000 doesn't turn on regardless of electrical switches... anyone can confirm that as well? Thanks!

Dec 16, 2018 · Interesting idea, but what you'd be talking about is a DIY job (assuming the 3D work for the VC buttons for the GTN was in place), to end up with a DA62 costing over £100 quid which still doesn't have as complex a flight model as the alternative which costs 30 quid. Dec 12, 2024 · I have a new mod for the Diamond DA62, originally made for FS2020 but not yet published. I've managed to get it working (pretty well) in FS2024. The only glitch appears to be that it will only load ONE livery out of the many I made. Does anyone have any experience of a similar thing or indeed any info about why that should be.
