Seriously, you can take just about any recipe for preparing canned ham and it will work exactly the same with DAK as with any other canned ham.

There actually is an official survival guide, but you have to write it yourself - and edit it as the situation changes - and revise it as you learn from your mistakes - and start all over again when things change again.

Feb 16, 2011 · I encounter canned ham everywhere, from small tuna fish sized cans (3.5oz) to the larger 15oz + sized cans. Prices range from about $1.00 to just under $4.00, respectively. Great for ham salad or adding to an omelet.

Nov 18, 2011 · I personally really like the Bristol brand ham. I prefer it over Dak. And at $2 a can I'd be stocking it like crazy. I'm going to have to check the dollar store to see if it's $2 for us as well. Personally, 15 canned hams is a drop in the bucket. I'd probably buy that many in one stop. IMO Canned meats are widely understocked by most.

Jul 15, 2013 · I see the DAK Ham at BJs Wholesale Club for $8.99 for a pack of three cans. The best by date is about four years. I think they taste ok stand alone or in a sandwich. They are great to have on hand when you need them for soups (split pea) or in an omelette.
