2014年12月24日 · As a way to showcase the new Dark Sun setting TSR mailed out a set of Brom art prints to game stores in the early 90's. The prints came in a white envelope with the Dark Sun logo in black and white on the top left of the envelope.

2012年2月1日 · Although short lived by some standards, Dark Sun only in full release from 1991-1996, the game still held a nice niche market for the genre and it would later be seen as so profound that it saw a re-release in D&D 4E in 2010.

2013年8月26日 · Beginning in 1991, TSR really started to push a new wave of boxed set campaign worlds for their AD&D 2 nd Edition, and one of these was Dark Sun. The brainchild of Troy Denning & Timothy B. Brown it was the anti-Greyhawk, a world of hard lines, wastelands, and finite resources.

Fortunately in my second year TSR introduced a new campaign -- Dark Sun. They were looking for a unique style to separate it from previous product lines and decided my work fit the bill. It was my break, a chance to put my mark on an entire line and for the next three years I worked exclusively on the bleak desert world of Dark Sun.

Brom contributed to all of TSR's game and book lines, particularly the Dark Sun setting: "I pretty much designed the look and feel of the Dark Sun campaign. I was doing paintings before they were even writing about the setting.
