Davey Callander, a member of the Van der Linde gang before 1899, was known for his love of alcohol and poker. His personality was divisive within the gang, with some members fond of him and others viewing him negatively. During an escape into an Ambarino snowstorm, Davey was gravely injured and later died from his wounds.

Paying Respects is an achievement/trophy in Red Dead Redemption 2. In order to get this achievement, the player must visit the graves of their fellow gang members to pay their respects to their deceased comrades. The graves can be visited at any time, but some are accessible as the player goes through the storyline missions.

Before Colter 's abandonment in 1884, it served as chapel for the local miners. The chapel can be visited during " Outlaws from the West." Soon after the mission, Davey Callander gets buried in the nearby graveyard. Inspecting his grave is required for 100% completion.

He was last with the gang when they were at the Abandoned Mining Town in the Colter. Exploring Colter you will find Davey Callender’s grave site. Find the tomb stone and press Y to pay respects to unlock one grave site.

Jenny dies before the start of the game, but she is mentioned several times throughout. Davey succumbs to his wounds during the introduction. Both of these graves can easily be found with a fast travel to Colter. Sean is the first gang member to die that we would have any relationship with as a player. Rhodes is your closest fast travel location.

Davey Callander is briefly shown alive. Arthur makes his entrance during the scene, and it is the only cut scene outside of the epilogue that he does not witness in its entirety.
