In 2005 Team Creation Autosportif continued to field their DBA 03S, while Team Jota and Zytek Motorsports ran Zytek 04S'. For 2006, Team Creation diverged off the family tree and re-homologated their car as a "Creation" CA06/H in light of the new regulations fully "hybridizing" the car to LMP1 specification.

Livered in all black the V8 engined Zytek looked almost identical to the DBA4 03S used in the 2003 season. Together with the new Zytek (s), the old DBA4 chassis put up a real challenge in 2004, frequently outpacing the competition.

The initial DBA4 03S as later raced by Creation Autosportif. Due to similarities in the design characteristics of LMP900 and LMP675 chassis, Reynard set about designing a chassis that could run in either class, dependent upon ballast and the type of engine installed.

At Le Mans in 2003, the RN Motorsport DBA4 03S achieved second in class but was also a lowly 23rd overall. New life was pumped into the Reynard design once more when engineering company and engine supplier Zytek picked up the manufacturing rights of the car.

The CREATION CA06/H (DBA4-03S) was designed and built by Reynard in early 2002 and originally known as the 02S. The car was the successor to the failed 2KQ project and as such Reynard used every trick in the book to produce the ultimate LMP675 chassis in a bid to right the wrongs of the past.

In conjunction with team sponsor QinetiQ, a commercial off shoot of the Ministry of Defense's Royal Aircraft Establishment (UK's version of NASA), CFD studies were undertaken to optimize the rear wing using QinetiQ's CODAS CFD software (the same software used in development of the Airbus A380 and various Lockheed and Boeing aerospace projects).
