2020年5月7日 · The DBAL A4/A3/I2 is not in same ballpark... civvy IR illuminator. The PERST 2 or 3 is brighter than the D2, full power A3 or full power ATPIAL LE versions, but its a Russian import and there is no nice two button switch options for vis and IR.

2013年3月29日 · Another good system is the DBAL-D2. It is a beast in the size Dept. but the IR Illuminator is great, BUT if you're a left southpaw, it's a real PITA for manual operation due to the fire button location.

2016年3月1日 · As I mentioned the new A4 uses a 600mW IR LED and we first tested the unit at shorter ranges out to 100 yards. Longer ranges will be forthcoming, but the units fixed IR Illuminator should go out to an effective range of 400-500 yards+. These are the first pics published showing the new IR LED Illuminator of the DBAL-A4.

2019年7月17日 · So it seems like the DBAL A4 been out for awhile now. I know the MAWL is king around here and pushed out a lot but I want to know how it compares to DBAL A4 and why. I jumped the gun on the A4 but I got it for a solid price for around 1800. I don't have a weapon light and I like the idea of a complete package.

2024年8月18日 · Very gud comment and helpful guidance...I do want to pull the trigger on it to see, especially since the A4 has a light...but I just saw on their page they have a new IS-EG NGAL clone model up with an advertised 40 mW of laser power, something that just sounds utterly preposterous...the DBAL A4 however says only <0.7 mW on the IR laser, and the light is actually said to be just 500 lumens ...

2020年12月22日 · Not really surprised about the A4. Price was entirely too close to the MAWL for something that just didn’t seem to offer that big of a leap in IR performance over something like a D2. Form factor wasn’t the best, it was fucking huge, and I don’t think a ton of people are too keen on tying their white light source in with an IR LAM.
