2013年2月9日 · Also, many of the DC5's I look at, to me, have high mileage. Hard to find anything under 50k. Anyways, I was wondering, is the engine in a Civic Type-R the same engine that's in the DC5? I ask as I was thinking, buy one with higher mileage, cheaper etc, then buy a Cat-D Type-R with low mileage at some point, and do the engine swap?

2015年7月20日 · Looking here, a lot of people have tried to buy brake discs for the DC5 Type-R only to receive the wrong size meant for a different car (Civic???). But neither a search or Google can tell me the correct size So I know the diameter is 300mm, but what are the thickness (28mm???) and height (47.2mm???) please? This is for the front. Thanks.

2006年2月8日 · I have driven the Euro R and own both a DC5R and an import 2004 accord wagon. The accord Euro R is very, very good! The seats are wider but still recaros (tomcats) and nice and supportive, the ride is still taunt but not ITR firm, the road noise is way down!

2010年6月26日 · The vertical measurement from where your line is to the top of the "Type R" badge is 20cm. The "Integra" badge starts 3cm from the shut gap and the "Type R" badge ends 3cm from shut gap. Didn't have a tape measure to measure between them. Hope this helps. Ps the "Type R" is also 20cm up.

2011年6月30日 · DC5‘s are in general rust free with only one member reporting rust on a body panel. Other and more common locations are the wheel arches due to stone chippings. If caught early enough, Honda sell touch-up pens that feature a small wire brush, primer and colour paint so you can DIY fix the rust spots.

2007年5月30日 · FD2-R - 225bhp / 1270kg /2.0l DC5-R - 220bhp / 1170kg / 2.0l DC2-R - 200bhp / 1070kg / 1.8l On paper it would seem the FD2-R would probably be inferior to the DC5 from a power to weight ratio point of view, since the 5 extra horses shouldnt be able to make up for the extra 100kg gain in weight.
