Western Guangong and Hainan are de iure part of Guangdong, even if de facto they're controlled by the japanese garrison. Britain is also no longer disunited according to the new lore. And I believe Hungary will own northern Transylvania in the future.

2022年2月27日 · Natural Earth draws boundaries of sovereign states according to de facto (“in fact”) status rather than de jure (“by law”). We show who actually controls the situation on the ground because it turns out laws vary country to country, and countries are only loosely bound by international law in their dealings with each other.

2021年4月25日 · Midway, Johnston atoll, Pheonix Islands, Guam, and the Line Islands belonged to America so the 1936 map might be a bit off. Unless all of those islands are one state in the TNO map then disregard this.
