Yet scouting out hunting spots from the road is a fairly simple process and like almost every other hunting adventure, it all starts with a map. Mapping apps like OnX are a great resource for finding good, legal-to-hunt locations close to the road.

For our Kansas bow (archery) hunting, crossbow, rifle, muzzleloader and rifle hunts we require the deer hunter to harvest at least a 140 class Kansas whitetail deer on their guided hunt in Kansas with Dirt Road Outfitters.

Dirt Road Outfitters' Kansas deer-hunting properties are used for bow (archery) hunts, muzzle loader (black powder hunts) & rifle hunting. Bow (archery) hunting takes place during the whitetail deer pre-rut, rut, and post-rut. We offer a limited number of Kansas deer hunts to ensure you a non-pressured hunting experience.

We have hunting land located in counties that are in the top five of the state of Kansas for not only for harvesting Pope & Young whitetail deer, but Boone & Crockett whitetail deer as well. We offer only small camp sizes & limit the amount of hunters we take in for our Kansas deer and turkey hunts every year.

2015年8月4日 · I'm wondering if the deer will be willing to cross that dirt road during daylight hours to enter the clearcut/food plots where I can get a shot on them. I'm worried they may wait until dark to cross it.

The arrow crossed a utility easement on it's way to the road ROW, I was hoping it would stop, but it kept going and eventually entered the deer. "Slow Down ♦ know ya can't catch me ♦ I move too fast on tha gas don't chase me." Butt, Body, Bill, BANG!! Huh?
