May 13, 2022 · Open powershell to test the install worked. Start by changing the default device normally. Then go into powershell and run the command. For changing the default audio device it is: Set-AudioDevice <AudioDevice> -DefaultOnly. and in my case my preferred audio device was device 2 (can be checked using command Get-AudioDevice -List).
