2024年1月28日 · Dek hockey is a type of hockey in which players play in their shoes instead of skates, and use a ball instead of a puck. It is a fast-paced game that is played on a blue-tiled court instead of concrete for better injury and pain prevention.

The U.S. DekHockey Federation is passionately committed to growing the sport of DekHockey in all 50 states to a professional level, both nationally and internationally. We propose to develop the Federation into an organization which is recognized and respected throughout the world of Street, Ball and DekHockey.

Street hockey (also known as shinny, dek hockey, ball hockey, road hockey or street roller hockey) is a collection of team sport variants played outdoors either on foot or with wheeled skates (either quad or in-line), using either a ball or puck designed for play on flat, dry surfaces.

Dek Hockey is a variation of Ball Hockey, played on a surface called sport court. Players play on foot with an orange ball and a boarded rink. Dek hockey rinks are typically distinguishable by the blue color of the sport court tiles. The surface reduces lateral and vertical stresses, better protecting players from common leg and foot injuries.
