My assumption is that Eri rewound the internal injuries (damaged ligaments) but was stopped short by Aizawa before the scars dissipated. I'm not saying that ReeseEsser or anyone who believes Deku's injuries are still present is wrong, but they're not right either.

With the scars I feel like almost all fics have them just some are more implied than actually explained. Like for Izuku a lot of times it’s implied he’s got scars from bullying or OFA, but won’t go into to much detail.

2022年7月15日 · A lot of characters are being burned, scarred, losing limbs. I’d say that many of the main characters are gonna come out of this with permanent scars and physical deformities. This has always been the case with Deku as we’ve seen him take damage throughout the series on his arms. But he was always able to hide those scars with his costume.
