Prolly shows my age, but at one time it was IBM Thinkpads, Dell Precision Workstations and Compaq Servers. We couldn’t break the Thinkpads, Dell ProSupport Plus was a superstar (still is) in the break/fix dept and Compaq servers were rock solid and, if we needed hardware support, Insight Manager made life easy!

2023年1月15日 · I hate Dell Display Manager 2.0 so much. The hotkeys just don’t work with it - at least not the way they did in v1. It’s a silly idea to want to move my cursor to the active window to then use the hotkey I set up to switch inputs, plus it doesn’t save unique hotkeys to each monitor like the previous version. Terrible interface and design.

I entered and pressed CTRL + Enter once and it removed the BIOS password, unlocked it. This website also gave the same recovery password that Dell gave me.

I've been seeing issues with the Dell Optimizer on systems that have two active network connections for the past 2-3 months. System will work 'fine' for a 'while' after a reboot, then it seems to MOSTLY affect authentication with MSFT products (teams / outlook / etc.) Uninstalling Dell Optimizer immediately resolves the issue.
