2020年6月23日 · Hi auggy, I've been on the phone with Dell support and they took over my computer when I found my resolution problem. They said they searched and installed all the latest drivers. I would assume they would have installed the specific driver you refer to. Thanks. As I mentioned to Bulldog, my ultrawide monitor died yesterday.

I noticed that your monitor resolution is 3840 x 1600, which does not seem to be a standard 4K resolution. The standard 4K resolution is 4096×2160.

2021年2月2日 · The aspect ratio of a 3,840 x 2,160 monitor is 16:9, while the aspect ratio of a 2,560 (which is what I think you mean) x 1,080 monitor is 21:9. That explains the stretching. 2,850 x 1,080 is something of an oddball resolution. 2,560 x 1,080 is more prevalent (because it corresponds more closely to 21:9 which is a common resolution for ultrawides.)

2023年1月3日 · I have checked graphics, and display adapter drivers and confirmed that the most up-to-date is installed. I have performed multiple system restarts, but I'm confused why the problem only occurs when a second monitor is connected. The correct 3440x1440 resolution option is available and works well when the ultrawide is the only monitor in use.

2023年6月16日 · Recently I purchased new laptop and external monitor: - Dell Vostro 7620 (i7-12700H, RTX 3050 Ti) - AOC CU34G2X/BK. Laptop came with W11 installed. When I connect my external monitor (through HDMI 2.0) as extended main display it sets resolution to recommended, which is 3440x1440.

2021年11月1日 · I recently updated to Windows 11. I have a LG 34 inch ultrawide monitor (21:9 aspect ratio, 2560x1080 resolution). Windows 11 selects the generic Pnp monitor driver, which has a max 1920x1080 resolution, so the screen is fuzzy and stretched out - really unusable.

And ability to connect using just a single cable for power to the computer and all data/video information to/from the monitor (along with built-in speakers, even if they're supposedly a bit on the tinny side) will really let me clean things up on my desk.

I own a ThinkPad E590 laptop which has a USB-C 3.0 connectivity port and I have purchased a 32:9 super wide monitor , Samsung Odyssey G9 Dual- QHD and I would need to find a docking station in order to be able to connect the monitor to my laptop via 1 single USB-C cable and have access to 5120x1440 @60hz resolution and also charge my laptop.
