The lowest cost brand name that meets those specs at the local Walmart is Havoline. Havoline Synthetic Blend 5W-30 SP GF-6 $16.97 per 6 qt of 5W-30.

2023年1月5日 · The difference applies only to the 0w-20 and 5w-20 viscocities. (5w-30 Dexos is different) I found TSB 13-00-90-002A from 2015 that covers the "replacement" of Dexos 5w-20 with Dexos 0w-20. Effectively this TSB "converts" all GM engines made since 2013 to use Dexos 0w-20, instead of the Dexos 5w-20 as originally specified.

2018年10月27日 · As for why it isn't Dexos Certified, who knows. It can likely beat the spec, but that's a question they'd have to answer. Personally, if you're taking short trips in the city and want to do yearly changes, go ultra. If it's a daily driver where you're on the highway and doing 6month/yearly changes, go platinum.

2010年6月15日 · Dexos is a GM specific....erm, yeah, well.... specification. More than likely the oil spec will be in relatively sharp focus with GM vehicles, predominantly. It may be very well LASER sharp on a recently recalibrated vehicle or soon-to-be-released Generic Motormunchers creations.
