He was a cruel god who consumed the souls of the dead, preventing resurrection and undeath, and hunted down those who had escaped death with the promise of "death undeniable". He ruled from his tower in the Underworld.

Dhuum is the final boss of Wing 5. Commonly regarded as one of the most difficult bosses in Guild Wars 2, Dhuum requires a few special roles as well as requires for the stack to adapt to certain mechanics.

Dhuum is one of the main antagonists in Guild Wars and a side antagonist in Guild Wars 2. In Guild Wars 2, he is voiced by Keston John. Originally, Dhum was a member of the Six Human Gods as the God of Death. He was a cruel ruler of the Underworld, devouring souls and preventing resurrections in the name of "death undeniable".

2025年3月6日 · Every 80 seconds starting roughly at 7:05, Dhuum dives into the ground, emerging at a random target and placing the Death Mark AoE on the ground that lasts 2 minutes. Being caught in the AoE seperates you from your soul similar to the Greater Death Mark attack. Dhuum will steal all boons if he hits someone with the dive attack.

Dhuum was the god of death until he was defeated and imprisoned by Grenth in the Hall of Judgment. Unfortunately, the life energy released every time a creature died in the Underworld added to Dhuum's power and weakened the seal on his prison.
