Dinapigue or sometimes called Dinapigui is the southernmost coastal town of the province of Isabela. It is one of the four remote and isolated coastal towns of Isabela facing the Philippine Sea on the east and separated from the rest of the province by the Sierra Madre Mountains.

The province of Isabela is the biggest province of the Cagayan Valley, Region and the second largest province in the Philippines with four coastal municipalities namely: Palanan, Maconacon, Divilacan, and Dinapigue (Ayson and Encarnacion 2008). Fishing is the primary source of livelihood in the coastal area.

Dinapigue is a coastal municipality in the province of Isabela. The municipality has a land area of 1,031.93 square kilometers or 398.43 square miles which constitutes 7.88% of Isabela's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 5,821.

Ocular visits and personal interviews were conducted along the four landing sites at Palanan, Isabela namely; Dicotcotan, Sabang, Culasi and Dimolid. A total of seventy four (74) fish species belonging to 37 families and 9 orders were documented during the study periods.

Dinapigue is located on the eastern site facing the Philippine Sea, 98% covered by forestland, the primary livelihood of the residents is rice farming. Meanwhile, its coastal area is a vast source of various fish and fishery species that provide livelihood and additional income to its residents.

2021年11月11日 · At least 28 women fisherfolk participated in the training held in barangay Digumased where they were taught on the technical know-how on processing canned mackerel in corn oil and canned tulingan in tomato sauce. The coastal town of Dinapigue is located at the eastern part of Isabela and can be reached passing the provinces of Quirino and Aurora.

2018年7月30日 · After eight hours of travel from my hometown Cabatuan, we reached the poblasyon of Dinapigue – Barangay Digumased and had a photo spree at the “I ♥ DINAPIGUE” pedestal and arc. Our first itinerary is an outreach activity with the Dumagats of Isabela particularly in Sitio Landing located adjacent an old airstrip by the seashore.
