Neither Intel or AMD offer warranty (without paying for additional insurrance at least) for overclocking and it's overclocking and you aren't guaranteed positive results with XMP enabled.

Putting this here in case it helps anyone else who was having the same issues as me. If you can boot into the game and play 5-15 minutes but then it crashes then you likely have XMP (intel) or EXPO (amd) enabled in your bios.
