Als motorrijder bij de Dienst Koninklijke en Diplomatieke Beveiliging (DKDB) heb je een specialistische taak. Je werkt tijdens een beveiligd transport. Je voert opdrachten uit rondom dit rijdende transport. Je observeert of beveiligt. Dit doe je alleen. Rijden en letten op de veiligheid van het transport gaan dus samen.

De Dienst Koninklijke en Diplomatieke Beveiliging (DKDB) is een onderdeel van de Eenheid Landelijke Expertise en Operaties van de Politie in Nederland. De DKDB beschermt de leden van het Koninklijk Huis, bedreigde politici, diplomaten en andere door het bevoegd gezag aangewezen personen.

Voor het specialistische rijniveau van de motor leer je vlot en veilig rijden. We bereiden je voor op taken bij een observatieteam (OT) of Aanhoudings- en Ondersteuningsteams (AOT). Maar ook bij de Dienst Koninklijke en Diplomatieke Beveiliging (DKDB) of een verkeersteam. Je leert hiervoor keren en inhalen.
