The dohwar, sometimes called dowhar, [3][4] were a race of short, flightless avians. A merchant race, they considered themselves the great rivals of the Arcane, although the Arcane themselves barely acknowledged their existence. [2] Dohwar distantly resembled penguins, standing 3‒4 ft (0.91‒1.2 m) on average.

All dohwar have fang-like structures on their beaks, which developed over centuries, allowing the dohwar to eat the tough, exotic plants found on many worlds in wildspace. These fangs serve as a last-ditch defensive measure for most dohwar, since most civilian dowar do not carry weapons nor do they wear armor.

All dohwar have a conspicuous pair of fangs used to hold fish and a prehensile digit on each flipper. Tall Dohwar tend to just reach 4 feet in height. Although they look pudgy and ungainly, especially on land. Dohwar tend to wear bright and garish harnesses for holding tools, pouches, and decorations.

Duergar are dwarves whose ancestors were transformed by centuries living in the deepest places of the Underdark. That chthonic realm is saturated with strange magical energy, and over generations, early duergar absorbed traces of it.

As always I’m glad to hear feedback and about any experiences using this brew for PCs or NPCs. Loading... The Dohwar, are probably one of my favorite races to come out of the Spelljammer setting.

Their oily feathers are black all over except for their chest, which is white, and their red eye plumes. A dohwar’s flippers have an prehensile digit which helps them grasp objects, but they lack fingers.
