The German National People's Party (German: Deutschnationale Volkspartei, DNVP) was a national-conservative and monarchist political party in Germany during the Weimar Republic. [19][20] Before the rise of the Nazi Party, it was the major nationalist party in Weimar Germany.

The DNVP was the attempt to revive the name and the tradition of the old DNVP of the Weimar Republic, without success. Founded in 1962, most of its members joined the newly-founded NPD in 1964. There was also an attempt in 1988 to revive the party without any significant outcome.
