Op 10 december vierde de Duits Nederlandse Windtunnel (DNW) de opening van haar nieuwste testfaciliteit, de Automotive Test Section (ATS). Het bestemmingsplan voor de ontwikkeling van een Mobiliteit en Infrastructuur Test Centrum (MITC) in Marknesse is definitief. De twee beroepen die nog op het bestemmingsplan liepen, zijn ingetrokken.
